Glasgow Afternoon Tea, Saturday 18th November 2017

Whether you call them "Devon cream tea", "Cornish tea", or prefer yours more "Thunder and Lightning" (topped with clotted cream and honey), you are sure to delight in our first official Glasgow Young Mensa meetup for afternoon tea at the famous Cup Tea Lounge on Saturday 18th November at 1:45pm.

Venue:

This breathtaking Victorian venue located in the centre of Glasgow is just a short walk from both central train stations. With glazed tile mosaics and pillared archways it is perfect for some much needed R&R with mouth-watering cakes, sandwiches and tea/coffee/champagne. Friendly and welcoming staff will serve up your choice of these delicious options:

  • AFTERNOON TEA - the award winning afternoon tea menu including coffee or tea, sandwiches, scones and fresh cakes: £20pp
  • DRINK UPGRADE - above afternoon tea plus a cocktail or single measure gin and tonic: £25pp
  • PROSECCO UPGRADE - above afternoon tea plus a glass of Prosecco or a mocktail: £22.50pp
  • VEUVE CLICQUOT - above afternoon tea plus a glass of premium champagne from one of the world's most prestigious Champagne Houses: £27.50pp
