IndieFlicks is an event showcasing short films from around the world, with a chance to vote on your favourite, and have questions answered by the film makers. This is one of a regular set of events which have been very popular so far, and have started some interesting discussions between the attending Mensans.
Please note the venue has changed from the previous location "Texture", which has now shut down.
- IndieFlicks, Lock 91, Manchester, 19:30, 2nd of May 2018
Lock 91 is an eclectic and pleasantly decorated little pub venue, with a dedicated cinema room upstairs. Very easy to reach, it's located right down by Deansgate tram stop, and just across from Deansgate train station. Featuring a good selection of drinks and friendly bar staff. Paid parking is available on surrounding streets, and in the multistorey car park just behind.
Arrive a little early to get a drink and find good seats before the films start! Afterwards we will continue in the bar to discuss the films over a few drinks. Opinions on the films frequently differ, and lead to very interesting discussions. Read our guest post covering a previous IndieFlicks night for a sense of what to expect.
Tickets are £6, and must be booked in advance: https://uk.funzing.com/funz/indieflicks-short-film-night-manchester-6269. Please note that this event always sells out in advance - please make sure you book well in advance to avoid disappointment!
