Young Mensa North are once again heading to Liverpool, this time for a laid-back afternoon in the pub, with good company and interesting conversation. Our events like this have worked well in other cities, and we'd really like to get to know our Scouse counterparts, it would be great to see some new faces!
The North Western, Liverpool, 14:00, Saturday 16th September 2017
This is a fairly grand Wetherspoons within Liverpool Lime Street station; it is well located for locals and obviously very easy for anyone travelling from further afield.
Young Mensa North are big Wetherspoons fans; their drinks selection is cheap and surprisingly vast, they have a good food menu and best of all, they have an app which allows you to order online, so we don't even have to get up to go to the bar!

We will move on later to the Baltic Market, where there is a wide variety of street food stalls, and then most likely will hit the town centre to take advantage of the city's nightlife.
Perhaps there are some newcomers coming along and you'd like us to keep an eye out for you; let us know by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you're not sure about how to get to Liverpool Lime Street station, or you'd like information about where to park, take a look at the National Rail website for information. There is a King Park near to the Baltic Market where you could park if you are joining us there.
