National Theatre Live broadcast performances live in cinemas so that theatre-goers all around the country can enjoy the show too. We will be joining in with a performance of Macbeth, shown on screen at HOME, an independant arts centre and cinema.

Macbeth is a well-known Shakespearean tragedy, detailing the downfall of an ambitious, tyrannical and conflicted Scottish general and nobleman, and his notorious wife Lady Macbeth. With witches, bloodthirsty murder, intrigue and wild Scottish moorland, there's something for everyone..!

We have a limited number of tickets for our members. Please email events@mensanorthwest.com to claim your ticket. Additional tickets, and tickets for non-members can be purchased from the HOME website for £15 each. Please be aware that these are selling out fast.

Doors open at 18:45 for a 19:00 start. Seating is not allocated, so we will meet in the foyer at 18:30 and go in together. I'll give you my phone number when you email, so we can all find each other.

Afterwards, we'll head to the Gas Works Brew Bar just across the road, for something to warm us up from our chilling experience.

HOME is located located on Tony Wilson Place, roughly opposite the Hacienda apartments. It's a very short walk from Oxford Road train station and Deansgate-Castlefield Metrolink stop. If you're driving, there is an NCP car park nearby at Bridgewater Hall.
