Murder Mystery, 3rd May 2018

Sharpen those wits, Young Mensa - it's time to solve a case full of devilish doings and dastardly deeds! To delve into the same depths as Holmes, Poirot, Wayne and Columbo!

Personally, I'm aiming for Clouseau.

Murder Inc., Ape & Apple, Manchester, 19:00, Thursday 3rd May 2018

Murder Inc. is a improvisation troupe, specialising in long-form murder mystery shows. The basic premise of each show is that some poor soul has met their end in some bizarre and bone-chilling manner, and it's up to the participants to figure out who it was what dun it before they disappear off into the night, presumably cackling maniacally.

There is also pizza!

They're currently in the process of selecting the theme for their latest murder, and if you poke your electronic nose into their Facebook group, you'll see the options - and, if you like, you can vote in favour of one or more of those.

The performance takes place at the Ape and Apple in Manchester, a traditional-style pub with a large selection of beers and whiskies, and a rather bewildering array of crisps behind the bar. It's situated on John Dalton Street, very close to the Town Hall and a short walk from the St Peter's Square tram stop.

Tickets to the performance are £5 each, half of which are available in advance on their website, the other half on the door on the night.
Doors open at 19:30, and the murdering performance begins at 20:00 - though doubtless some of us will be appearing onsite before that. The performances vary from night to night, but should be over by 23:00.

If anything changes, we'll be letting the Telegram group and Facebook event know as soon as we can - both of which are good ways to get in touch with us in a hurry on the day as well.
