Picnic at Chatsworth House, 26th May 2018

Whether you're a local and visit often, have fond memories of visiting as child whilst on holiday, or are yet to discover the beauty of Chatsworth, you'll be most welcome at our afternoon picnic.

Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, 12:00, Saturday 26th May 2018

We'll gather at the entrance and then wander around the gardens for a while, until we find a good picnic spot. Bring something to eat for yourself, and something to share around would be much appreciated (and will help us get to know each other). A picnic blanket would be a good idea as well.

This is a day for all ages, hopefully with lots of sunshine! We'll explore the whole gardens, from the hedge maze to the Victorian rock garden, and of course the amazing cascade.

There are several different ticket options available for Chatsworth; our day will be focused on the gardens, so we'd recommend the Garden Ticket (£13 for adults, £7 for children or £35 for a family of up to two adults and three children). By all means, feel free to buy a different ticket which gives you further access, others in the group may well join you if you'd like to explore the house or farmyard too. If you book online in advance you'll get free parking (otherwise it's £4).

If you get lost

We also always keep a close eye on our Telegram group during all our events, so if you're lost or running late, you can get in touch with us there - and it's a great place to chat with us when we aren't running events, too.
