Another step in our quest to educate and to instigate intelligent discussion: we're going to the SciBar in Didsbury. For the uninitiated, these are free talks run by the British Science Association, with a different speaker each time chosen to tell you all about their area of interest.
Didsbury SciBar, Albert Club, Old Lansdowne Road, Didsbury, 18:30, Monday 19th March 2018
The topic will be announced nearer the time - keep an eye on the Facebook event for more details. Rest assured that it will be both fascinating and understandable, and the speaker will take time at the end to answer any questions that we may have.
Afterwards, we will move on to the nearby Metropolitan, on Burton Road, which has a good selection of drinks, as well as comfy sofas and fires to warm us up on the inevitably cold night.
If you are taking public transport, West Didsbury tram stop is closest to the Albert Club, with Burton Road being a slightly longer walk (both less than ten minutes). There are frequent bus services, and limited free parking on site. There is also parking available in nearby streets.
