Young Mensa are bowling through the steel city of Sheffield again, this time quite literally; join us for two games of bowling at the Hollywood Bowl. It's been a while since we did anything competitive, so this should be great fun.
Hollywood Bowl, Sheffield, 14:00, Sunday 26th November
The cost for both games will be £15; there is no need to book or pay in advance.
Hollywood Bowl is located in the "Valley Centertainment" area, a short tram ride from Meadowhall or the city centre. Complete with arcades, bar and, lest we not forget, food.
Afterwards we will head to The Eighteen Ten, which is a short walk from the bowling alley and serves a range of food and drink at reasonable prices (the name is a reference to the percentage of chromium and nickle used in the local steel, respectively, in case you were wondering).
How to get there:
Located at Valley Centertainment, Sheffield Leisure Park, Broughton Ln, Sheffield S9 2EP, Hollywood Bowl is a short tram journey from both Meadowhall (6 minutes, 3rd stop) or Sheffield centre (15 minutes).
Free parking is available at the venue, although it is usually full, due to the cinema nearby sharing the carpark - you may be able to park at the nearby arena but this will cost you.
